The Advanced-level Respiratory Care program offers students the opportunity to learn and work in a quality-oriented environment which they will eventually call a career. Students receive exposure to include, but not limited to, adult respiratory care in the acute and long-term care setting, neonatal and pediatric care, cardiology, hyperbaric medicine, diagnostics, emergency room, patient education, home care, and sleep laboratory.
Upon successful completion of the two year program, graduates will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree from Cisco Junior College, and be Registry eligible for the National Board for Respiratory Care examinations. Individual success with the examinations will earn them the credentials of Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT.
