About the Auxiliary

Hendrick Medical Center Auxiliary was formed in 1958. Its purpose is to assist the medical center in promoting the health and welfare of the community. Auxiliary members serve as communication agents informing the public of medical center programs and services. This organization also reports community health needs back to the medical center, thus assisting in meeting these needs.
Through the close working relationship and support of the medical center administration and through well-planned auxiliary programs, members are better informed and educated to the new policies and services of Hendrick Medical Center.

Throughout the year, in addition to the people you see around the center, Hendrick Medical Center Auxiliary participates in the following events and activities:

  • Children's Miracle Network
  • Hendrick Community Health Convention
  • Hospice "Light Up a Life" tree
