Antao Du, MD, previously served as stroke director and attending physician at Vista Health System in Waukegan, Illinois. While there, he successfully renewed the certificate of primary stroke center for the hospital and set up a telestroke program in conjunction with Rush University.

Dr. Du earned his medical degree at Tongji Medical University in China and completed his residency in radiology at Beijing Medical School, where he was also an attending physician. Following research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and the University of California in San Francisco, Dr. Du interned in the transitional program at Sinai-Grace Hospital, Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University. While at Sinai-Grace, he completed a residency in neurology, as well as a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology.

Dr. Du is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and has published numerous scholarly works in professional publications. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and holds a second certification in clinical neurophysiology.
