About Himabindu

Himabindu Valluru, MD, attended medical school at Ross University in Iselin, New Jersey, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She remained in Brooklyn and completed a fellowship in nephrology at State University of New York- Downstate Medical Center. Before joining the team at Hendrick Clinic, Dr. Valluru was the attending physician in nephrology at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

“I enjoy being a patient advocate, helping my patients better understand their health concerns and make right choices,” said Dr. Valluru.

Dr. Ogu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the kidneys.
