Daniel Canario, MD, earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine at Loma Linda, California. Dr. Canario completed both an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in infectious disease at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, New York.

Dr. Canario specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infections, such as bacterial, viral and fungal disease. 

An expert in his field, Dr. Canario has authored numerous research projects and publications in the field of internal medicine and received the Excellence in Education award while at Peninsula Hospital Center in Queens, New York.
