About Preston

Preston Pate, MD, FCCP, received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his residency and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at The University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis.

"I'm returning to Abilene because I love the community. Helping patients with lung disease has been my life's work. I hope to continue my work here for many years," said Dr. Pate.

Dr. Pate is board-certified in pulmonary medicine and a fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Pate specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of of conditions related to the lungs. He treats respiratory issues such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung infections.
