New Hires, Status Changes and Qualifying Life Events

New Hires:

Deadline: 31 days from your hire date
How to Enroll:

Coverage Begins: first of the month following 30 days of employment

Status Change Employees:

(moving into a benefits eligible status, such as full-time)
Deadline: 31 days from your status change effective date
How to Enroll:

Coverage Begins: first of the month following your enrollment, assuming you have been employed at least 30 days
A benefits packet will be emailed to you with details.

Qualifying Life Events

Deadline: 31 days from the date of event, unless entitled to additional time under a federal policy or program
How to Make Changes: Complete the Qualifying Life Event (QLE) form here.
If you wish to make changes to after-tax benefit plans only, please click here.
Coverage Begins: first of the month following your QLE submission, unless for birth or adoption which are effective on the date of event.
Premiums are due on the first check date following the effective date of the change. Missed premiums will be collected on the following paycheck(s) until premiums are paid in full.
