About Tommie

Tommie Farrell, MD, earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He completed a residency in family medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. Board certified in family medicine and in hospice and palliative medicine, Dr. Farrell is also certified by the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board and received additional training in medical acupuncture at Helm’s Medical Institute in Berkeley, California. He also received special training in Program in Palliative Care Education and Practice at Harvard University.

Dr. Farrell is a member of the Texas and American Medical Associations, the Texas Academy of Palliative Medicine and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
