About David

David Stark, MD, graduated with honors from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. After completing his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, he entered into a private practice of orthopedic surgery in Weatherford in 1988. After 15 years of developing a successful practice, Dr. Stark relocated to Abilene. He has served as the head orthopedic surgeon for Abilene Christian University (ACU) since 2004 and as medical director of the ACU master’s program in athletic training.

Dr. Stark’s personal interest include hunting, ranching, flying and restoring vintage airplanes and spending time with family.
