Rhett K. Lohman, DO

About Rhett

“I decided to become a surgeon after I had a procedure myself, and I hope to pay this forward by making my patients’ surgical experience as pleasant as possible. I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity to work in the field I love than in the city of Abilene. The sense of community I have felt from day one tells me I have found the best place to call home!”

Rhett Lohman, DO, attended The University of Memphis, where he graduated summa cum laude in foreign languages with a concentration in Spanish and minors in biology and chemistry. After receiving his medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, he completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Grandview Medical Center (now Kettering Health Dayton), an affiliate of Ohio University. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Medical Association.
