About Joji

Joji Varghese, MD, came to Abilene from Arkansas, where he completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Previously, he served as a cardiovascular fellow at Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas. Dr. Varghese earned medical degrees in medicine and surgery in India, then completed a residency in internal medicine in Springfield, Illinois, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Varghese is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and echocardiography.
