Hendrick Hospice Care is offering an opportunity to learn about healing during the holidays at Grief and the Holidays: Grieving, Remembering & Celebrating, Saturday, Nov. 10, from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. The seminar will be held in Hendrick Hospice Care Center’s Davis Bereavement Center, 1651 Pine St. in Abilene.

Topics at the seminar include basic grief information, ways to care for yourself during the holidays, ideas for honoring a loved one, exploring coping strategies and finding hope and spiritual strength.

Grief and the Holidays is offered as a free community service. Lunch will be provided by Elmwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home. For more information or to make a reservation, call Hendrick Hospice Care at 325-670-6999 or 1-800-622-8516. Reservations are required by Thursday, Nov. 8.
