Friendly competition for school pride will help boost blood supply for Hendrick Regional Blood Center

It’s time again for Hendrick Regional Blood Center’s Annual Crosstown Showdown Blood Drive. Students, faculty, staff and supporters of Hardin-Simmons University and McMurry University will compete to see which school donates the most blood. The Bloodmobile will be parked at McMurry on Wednesday, Jan. 23 in front of Garrison Campus Center, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Bloodmobile will be at HSU parked in front of Behrens Auditorium, Thursday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The winner of the competition will be announced during halftime at the men’s basketball game at HSU, Saturday, Jan. 26.

Donors do not need to be students to donate, but must donate at the school they are supporting for the donation to count.
