Hendrick Regional Blood Center (HRBC) will open the doors to its new home on Pine Street at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3.  The new center is located at 1701 Pine St., and replaces the former center on N. 18th Street.

“We are very excited to move into our new space,” said Kelsey Caprio, donor recruiter for Hendrick Regional Blood Center. “The open design is spacious and calming, and will certainly enhance the experience for our donors.”

Features of the center include a spacious waiting area, three interview rooms, five donor chairs and two TVs. Platelet donations will be collected in a separate area that will include two donor chairs and a TV.

Friday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

“We are thrilled to open on Monday and share this new space with our valued donors,” said Caprio, “And for anyone who has not donated, we encourage you to come by, take a look around and then donate.”

The blood center will share the approximately 8,000-square-foot building with Hendrick Regional Laboratory (patient draw station only). The lab’s draw station will move to the new location later this month.
