Registration open for Hendrick Health’s Annual Bunco for Breast Cancer Tournament

Registration open for Hendrick Health’s Annual Bunco for Breast Cancer Tournament

Registration is now open for the Annual Bunco for Breast Cancer Tournament, scheduled from 6 – 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 17 at the Taylor County Expo Center Coliseum, 1801 E. South 11th Street.

Join the more than 1,200 women and men raising dollars and breast cancer awareness by playing the dice game Bunco to benefit The Hope Fund at Hendrick Health. The fund was established in 2001 to assist those who may be financially limited to get mammogram screenings, diagnostic mammograms and breast ultrasounds at no cost.

This year’s theme is "Let's Get Animated!" We are inviting all Bunco participants to dress up as their favorite cartoon or animated character.

Tickets and tables are available for purchase online at hendrickhopefund.org/events. The registration fee is $35 per player, and tables of 12 are available. Event T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies also can be preordered at the website. New this year is the option to order the items in a variety of colors.

Bunco is a fast-paced, group dice game that requires little to no skill to play. Players take turns rolling three dice in a series of six rounds. A Bunco is achieved when a person rolls three-of-a-kind and all three numbers match the round number. More information about tournament rules is available at the registration website.
