Outpatient laboratory opens in Cedar Mall near Hendrick Medical Center

On Thursday, February 1, Hendrick Health is opening a seventh outpatient laboratory in Abilene for the convenience of customers on the north side of town.

The newest location is on the first floor of Cedar Mall at 1150 N. 18th St., just south of Hendrick Medical Center. Hours of service are 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

The Cedar Mall outpatient laboratory is a convenient location for not only patients of the healthcare providers in the building but also any patient with a physician’s lab order.

Adding a new location also will have a positive impact on wait times for services at the other Hendrick Health outpatient laboratories, which are located at:

•  Hendrick Medical Center, Jones Building, 1924 Pine St. Hours: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

•  Hickory Center, 1850 Hickory St., Suite 100. Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

•  Hendrick Medical Center South Outpatient Pavilion, 6250 Hwy 83/84, northeast doors. Hours: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

•  Lancaster Medical Plaza, 5302 Buffalo Gap Road. Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

•  Hendrick Regional Lab, 1701 Pine St., Hours: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday; 7:30 a.m. – noon, Saturday.

•  Medical Office Building, 1680 Antilley Road, Suite 240. Hours: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Thursday; 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday.

At each location, walk-ins are welcome. Customers also should check with their provider whether their lab order requires a specific location.
