To help participants train for the upcoming Tour de Gap cycling event, Hendrick Health Club is offering its cycling classes at no charge for local residents during the month of July.
At Hendrick Health Club at 2110 Pine Street, the Cycle Cinema immersive studio is like a real road cycling adventure with big-screen visuals and music and sound. Virtual cycling classes are available at Hendrick Health Club at 6100 Regional Plaza. Local residents do not have to participate in the race to take advantage of this special.
Proceeds from Tour de Gap, an annual family-friendly bike event that stages in Buffalo Gap on July 26, will benefit Presbyterian Medical Care Mission. The nonprofit provides affordable medical care for low income and uninsured adults in Abilene.
To jump into any cycling class for free in July, visit either Hendrick Health Club location to sign a waiver and be issued a bar code.
Visit hendrickhealthclub.com for the schedule of cycling classes or call 325-670-2582. Tour de Gap registration and routes are available at tourdegap.com.
