Hendrick Hospice Care hosts Club Courage for children dealing with loss of loved one

Hendrick Hospice Care is accepting registrations for Club Courage, a free support group for children entering kindergarten – 12th who have experienced a loss through death, divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment or other painful transition.

Registration is required at hendrickhospice.org/clubcourage by Friday, Oct. 3.

Club Courage will meet 6:30 – 8 p.m. on consecutive Tuesdays, from Oct. 14 to Nov. 18, in the Davis Bereavement Center at Hendrick Hospice Care Center, 1651 Pine St. Children are divided into small groups of peers their age.

During Club Courage, a free support group is available for parents and guardians who are helping a grieving child. There is no cost, and registration is not required for this adult group.
