Hendrick Clinic General Surgery in Brownwood welcomes Robert Brown, MD

Hendrick Health is proud to welcome Robert Brown, MD, to Hendrick Clinic General Surgery in Brownwood. Since 2010, Dr. Brown has provided high-quality surgical care to residents in Texas and New Mexico, including previously in Brownwood.

“I love being a general surgeon because it affords me the ability to practice medicine in a very evolving field, that is both challenging and exciting,” said Dr. Brown. “Also, it allows me to interact with patients daily. I enjoy spending time with my patients and learning about them and their situations. We love the Brownwood area and are happy to be back!”

Dr. Brown received his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston. He completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Tulsa.

He performs minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, abdominal surgery, hernia repairs and colon/rectal surgery.
