Hendrick Clinic General Surgery welcomes Donald P. Lesslie, DO

Hendrick Clinic General Surgery welcomes Donald P. Lesslie, DO, who is returning to Abilene after practicing in Oklahoma and other parts of Texas.

After graduating from Abilene Christian University, Dr. Lessie received his medical degree at University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed an internship at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, followed by a general surgery fellowship at The University of Texas-Houston and a biology research fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He completed an additional surgical oncology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

“My return to Abilene represents a real opportunity to combine my experience, my love for this community and my purpose-driven mission to provide the highest quality cancer care to patients in the place they call home,” said Dr. Lesslie. “I consider it a privilege to be part of this exciting cancer program.”

Dr. Lesslie is board certified by American Board of Surgery and will be providing general and oncology surgical services in Abilene.
