Hendrick Clinic Internal Medicine welcomes Timothy Dixon, MD

Hendrick Health welcomes Timothy Dixon, MD, to our Hendrick Clinic Internal Medicine team.

After growing up in Abilene, Dr. Dixon attended The University of Texas-Arlington, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He went on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, earning his medical degree and completing his residency in internal medicine.

"My passion in medicine is helping people achieve true wellness by bringing together lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and mental well-being," said Dr. Dixon. "I believe health is built through daily habits that support both the body and the mind. I approach my work as a calling – to serve God, my patients and the Abilene community with humility and dedication."

As an internist certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Dixon provides comprehensive care for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases in adults. His services include general wellness counseling that encompasses nutrition and physical training.
