
Hendrick Health and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) are currently negotiating a new agreement as part of our routine contract renewal process. Our current contract is scheduled to expire on November 30, 2025.
For our patients, nothing changes right now. Please keep all scheduled appointments and continue receiving care as usual.
Our goal is to reach a fair agreement that allows Hendrick Health to continue providing high quality and lifesaving care to you and our community. A fair and reasonable contract helps us attract and retain skilled doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals, ensuring you have access to advanced and expert medical care close to home. We remain optimistic that we will reach an agreement before the current contract ends, and we believe BCBSTX shares this commitment.
During this process, you may receive communications from BCBSTX indicating that Hendrick Health may become “out of network” for certain commercial (employer-based) health plans after November 30, 2025. While these are standard notifications during negotiations, we want to assure you that we are continuing in good faith to reach an agreement and will make every effort to finalize a new agreement before the deadline.
If a new agreement is not reached by November 30, 2025, Hendrick Health’s top priority will remain our patients. We will continue to care for all BCBSTX members and will provide regular updates on this site.
