PWR!Moves Parkinson’s Exercise Classes
PWR!Moves (Parkinson's Wellness Recovery) is a research-based Parkinson-specific
exercise program that incorporates movement awareness and retraining,
targeting disease symptoms.
Taught by a PWR!Moves certified instructor, the program targets multiple
symptoms that interfere with the mobility of people who live with Parkinson’s
disease, and helps maintain or restore skills that deteriorate with everyday
movements by focusing on large amplitude exercises. Occupational and speech
therapies are also incorporated.
